05/12/2024   CQC latest Single Assessment Framework update from CareLineLive

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is implementing immediate changes to address their backlog of assessments and improve their assessment methodology.

Starting from 2nd December 2024, the CQC will shift scoring and reporting for provider assessments from the evidence category level to the quality statement level, enhancing clarity and efficiency in reporting.

These interim changes will be reviewed in early 2025, alongside further enhancements such as clearer quality criteria descriptions and a new guidance handbook for service providers.
