Delphi Care Solutions has been networking across the country this month, meeting some Key Individuals within the Health and Social Care Industry. We have attended seminars, members meetings, conferences, and Care Association Events and formed some fantastic relationships in doing so.

Collaborating really is the key to change in Health and Social Care

We are supporting Providers with Registration for Domiciliary care, clinics, Supported Living, and Residential services, with a variety of diagnoses. Using a Care Solutions Expert allows for providers to be able to focus on the day-to-day running of their business- building those relationships, exploring opportunities, and putting the tools Delphi has provided them with into practice.

We have met some proactive Providers engaging in Mock Inspections, collaborating with our experts to drive continuous improvement within their services. Without this proactive strategy providers won’t be surprised by the regulator’s findings and at times disheartened – it’s much better to know our Services, show your continuous Improvement plan, and drive change forward. We have implemented strength within services that have identified concerns, driving risk mitigation strategies to provide a better experience for those accessing Care & Support.

Is your Winter Plan Ready?
Be prepared - the Season is changing doesn’t mean Quality of Care needs to:

• Staffing: Ensure adequate staffing, plan for shortages, and encourage vaccinations.
• Infection Control: Update protocols, stock PPE, and monitor outbreaks.
• Client Health: Identify high-risk clients, schedule health checks, and arrange flu/COVID-19 vaccinations.
• Communication: Keep clear communication with staff, clients, and families about winter plans.
• Winter Hazards: Ensure heating works, stock blankets, and prepare for severe weather.
• Supplies: Stock up on medications, medical equipment, and emergency food/water.
• Transport: Plan for travel disruptions, and ensure vehicles are winter-ready.
• Emergency Plans: Update protocols for power outages and extreme weather, and coordinate with local
services.

• Financial Planning: Budget for increased costs and review available support programs.
