What We Do
Promoting Social Care as a Career of Choice
We raise awareness of the diverse range of careers available within adult social care, challenging outdated perceptions and helping people understand the reality of working in the sector.
Through careers events, school engagement, community outreach, and job fairs, we showcase the rewarding opportunities available and demonstrate how social care can be a fulfilling and purposeful career.
Working with Education Providers
We work closely with schools, colleges and universities to create valuable links between education and employment.
By facilitating volunteering opportunities, work experience placements and industry placements, we help students gain first-hand experience of the sector while supporting employers to engage with future talent.

Supporting Apprenticeships and Workforce Development
Apprenticeships play a vital role in building a skilled and sustainable workforce. We help care providers understand and access apprenticeship opportunities, funding streams and workforce development programmes.
We actively promote government initiatives, recruitment programmes and employment schemes that can support both employers and job seekers, helping the sector make the most of available opportunities.
Promoting Career Progression
Social care offers clear progression routes, from entry-level roles through to specialist, management and leadership positions. We promote national career pathways and help individuals understand how they can develop their skills and advance their careers within the sector and beyond.
Championing Values-Based Recruitment
Technical skills can be taught, 
but values are at the heart of outstanding care.
We encourage values-based recruitment, ethical employment practices and workforce best practice, helping employers attract people who have the compassion, dedication and commitment needed to make a difference.
Providing Employment Support
When care providers face organisational change or workforce challenges, we offer practical support to employees who may need help finding new opportunities.
This can include career conversations, employability guidance, CV support and advice on career options within adult social care. Our aim is to help individuals remain within a sector where their skills and experience are valued.
Supporting Workforce Retention
With an ageing population and an ageing workforce, attracting and retaining talent has never been more important.
We work with care providers to explore innovative approaches to staff engagement, development and retention, helping organisations build resilient teams while encouraging the next generation to enter the profession.
Representing the Sector
CareinLincs Careers regularly attends careers fairs, recruitment events and community engagement activities on behalf of care providers across Lincolnshire.
However, the most powerful advocates for the sector are the people who work in it every day.
We actively encourage providers and care professionals to join us at events, enabling prospective candidates to hear authentic experiences and gain a genuine understanding of what a career in care can offer.
